Raygun Projects, mini residency

  • 26 Aug 2015

Nat has been invited to create a project with Raygun Projects, Toowoomba QLD. It begins with this mini residency - an entry point to a new work. It is a chance to notice and feel Toowoomba, to respond to first impressions and to wonder where this visit could lead in the future. It is a conversation with artist and Raygun co-director Alexandra Lawson. It is an initial crossing of practice and perspective. Nat brings with her the heaviness of an artist consistently questioning the notion of her own success and failure, but also the lightness of an artist embracing and framing failure through her recent projects Tiny Slopes, The Middle Room and the very nascent Where Things Fall... all to be used as points of conversation and play during her brief visit at Raygun.
